Learning & Teaching of Kannada Is Bridging the Gap Between Muslims And Other Communities Says Muhammadiyara Kannada Vedike

By learning and using the Kannada language, the differences, rather confusions, between Muslims and people of other religions are fading away, says Samiullah Khan, an office bearer of Maktab Falah-ud-Darien.
BANGALORE: With the theme "Let's learn the local Kannada language and promote harmony among people of different religions and cultures", a campaign to teach Kannada language to female and male students is being launched by Muhammadiyara Kannada Vedike and Maktab Falah Ul Darin. And during a meeting these students showed their learning.
It is to be noted that the initiative of setting up ‘Kannada Kalika Kendra’ is an initiative taken up by the President of Muhammadiyara Kannada Vedike Samiullah Khan, who is also running a similar Maktab at Masjid e Taha of Mattikere to impart Kannada Training, not only to Muslims but also to those who are willing to learn the language.
Under this campaign, the third batch of Kannada course was completed in which 30 girls learned Kannada language well and demonstrated it in front of the guests.
In this regard, certificates were distributed to 30 female students who completed the third batch of Kannada Course by the Chief Guest Dr. T.S Nagabharana, Chairman of Kannada Development Authority (KDA).
On this occasion Dr. T. S Nagabharan expressed his happiness to see the Muslim students speaking Kannada language and said that regardless of religion, Kannada language is connecting everyone and creating brotherhood and love among them.
On this occasion, Samiullah Khan, the president of
Muhammadiyara Videke and Salahuddin Khan, the officials of Falah-ud-Darien,
said that by learning Kannada language and using it, the misunderstandings and
distances between Muslims and other religions are ending.
